I've got three laptops getting different results, two connecting but not projecting, one working. All running Windows 8.1 w/ latest drivers from respective vendors and Intel. The two laptops that are failing both connect to the LG TV, but when one tries to project (extend or duplicate display), connection is lost and fails.
In my case, the configs are:
PC1 - Dell Precision 6600 Laptop w/ Windows 8.1 Enterprise, 64 bit (FAILS as described)
- Intel i7-2680QM (Sandy Bridge, Gen2)
- Intel HD3000 w/ 9.17.10.3347 - (10/31/2013)
- Intel 6300 Ultra WiFi w/ 15.10.4.2 (9/23/2013)
- Intel 825789LM LAN 12.2.45.5031 (10/31/2013)
PC2 - Samsung XE700 Slate w/ Windows 8.1 Enterprise, 64 bit (FAILS as described)
- Intel i5-2467M (Sandy Bridge, Gen2)
- Intel HD3000 w/ 9.17.10.3347 - Updated per this thread today.
- Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6230 Wifi w/ 15.4.1.1 driver (inbox, nothing more current from Intel)
PC3 - Lenovo ideapad Flex 15 w/ Windows 8.1, 64 bit (WORKS)
- Intel i5-4200U, (4th Gen)
- Intel HD4400, Driver 10.18.10.3345, (10/31/2013)
- Intel Wireless-N 7260, Driver 16.6.0.8, (10/14/2013)
- Only issue I see with PC3 is that rendering is about 1/2 second late
LG TV - 47LS5700, latest firmware 6.0.11 (which added support for Windows 8.1 WiDi)
Clearly there'a a lot of variability in what works and doesn't work.
Joe Intel, any thoughts?
Thanks
