Thanks for your answers, which haven't eliminated my doubts, that your problem has anything to do with the CPUs of your Company's computers.
What I recommend to check is the version of the in-use AHCI driver of your computers. Especially a "downgrade" from any actual Intel AHCI driver v11.5.x.x.xxxx or higher named iaStorA.sys - using an additional SCSI filter driver named iaStorF.sys - to any "conventional" Intel RST driver - using just a single driver named iaStor.sys (latest version: 11.2.0.1006) - may induce troubles, because some iaStorF registry settings may not have been correctly deleted.
