Such messages are very often absolutely misleading. According to my long-term experiences with RAID drivers the Intel RST driver v11.2.0.1006 is the most stable and performant RAID driver Intel has ever developed.

No, this advice obviously has been given for Vista or Win7 users and not for users, who want to run Windows XP.
